Timor-Leste Solidarity Medal Award

On 30 of August 2014, at a ceremony in Dili, the late Dr Andrew McNaughtan’s contribution to the Timorese struggle for self-determination and independence was acknowledged with the awarding of Timor-Leste's Solidarity Medal Award. The medal was presented by the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste H.E. Mr Taur Matan Ruak and accepted by Dr McNaughtan’s cousin Nigel Stewart.
